On the afternoon of February 8, Shanghai International Group (SIG) held the 2020 Review Meeting on Duty Performance of Secretaries of CPC Committees (General Party Branches) of Subsidiaries. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, hosted the meeting. Present were Wu Jun, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission; Ma Haiyan and Chen Zhenpeng, Member of the CPC SIG Committee; secretaries and deputy secretaries of CPC committees (general Party branches) of SIG's subsidiaries, heads of discipline inspection organizations, heads of the CPC Office and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office of SIG, as well as representatives from the grass-roots level.

Zhou Lei, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd.; Deng Weili, Secretary of the CPC Committee of SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd.; and Chen Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Branch of Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. reported their work performance with focus on duty performance in grass-roots Party building and Party integrity building in 2020, the existing problems and cause, as well as the next-step work plans.

Wu commented on the secretaries' duty performance in grass-roots Party building and Party integrity building in 2020, spoke highly of the work results of CPC committees (general Party branches) of SIG's subsidiaries over the year, pointed out their existing problems and deficiencies, and indicated their next-step direction.

Yu stressed that 2021 marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China, the opening year of the "fourteenth five-year" period, the 40th anniversary of SIG and a key year for SIG to implement the three-year action plan for strategic development. In the New Year, CPC committees (general Party branches) of SIG's subsidiaries should implement the new development concept and serve the development pattern at the current development stage, seriously implement the annual tasks of Party building and operation determined at SIG's Party work conference, fully leverage the Party's role in overall leadership, practically perform the primary responsibility of Party building and Party integrity building, deepen and refine the mechanism of "four-responsibility coordination", work persistently on ideological and political building, ensure the political responsibility of governing the Party fully and strictly, further improve the quality of grass-roots Party building and guide high-quality development through high-quality Party building.

At the meeting, the attendees assessed the performance of Zhou, Deng and Chen in grass-roots Party building and Party integrity building in 2020.
