Shanghai International Group (SIG) held a Party-government joint conference on February 1 to convey and learn the spirit of Shanghai's People’s Congress and CPPCC Shanghai Session. Present were the leading body and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of SIG, as well as heads of SIG's departments and subsidiaries.

Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG, conveyed the main spirit of the 5th Session of the 15th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and the 4th Session of the 13th CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee.

Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, required that SIG should seriously learn and implement the spirit of the "People’s Congress and CPPCC Shanghai Session", learn the Government Work Report delivered by Mayor Gong Zheng at the 5th Session of the 15th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and the Outline of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan of Shanghai Municipality approved at the meeting, further enhance stance and understanding, unify thought and action on Shanghai's new strategic arrangements, and better plan and advance the work of SIG.
